Ortofon SPU-GT Stereo

I have have an original old SPU-GT Stereo with the original stylus intact & OK.
Also, a choice of arms, - RMG-309 - long straight arm or an SMG-212 - curved arm.

Are these worth using or are they likely to damage records?

I would think the long arm would be best for a low compliance stylus at 4g tracking force.
