Any gut shots for this amp? I have one that looks like parts are missing, not sure if they are suppose to be gone or not. Schematic would be ideal
The amp photos are from the same model but the amps are not very similar. Yours appears to be missing the preamp board. The main board photo below has had all three daughter-boards removed. The driver board below without the RCA jacks replaces the 4 boards in your amp.

I believe the protection circuit is causing the issue. I have noise on the positive peak of the sine wave.

Here is the signal, I don't see the noise now. My connection might have been bad.
I've seen this type of signal before on some Rockford amps and it has been a problem in the protection circuit. I have little experience on Orion amps, kind of clueless right now.
Adjusting the potentiometer on the modulator board eliminates some of the clipped waveform. I run out of adjustment to eliminate it all.
