Hello all,
Does any of you know how are windings on TANGO XE-20S oriented? I opened the hood but trafo is submerged in black resin so I can't see the windings. The only thing I can see is two bunch of wires comming out of the resin on the oposite side of the box and are terminated at the prim/sec terminal pins. Thanks for help.

Dunno !
Suggestion:
Lightly feed any winding with few 50/60Hz AC volts and move a magnetic mike around 😕
Yves.

An output transformer can easily cope with mains across its primary, then use any transformer (or choke) of known orientation connected to an oscilloscope (or headphones). Maximum output is when the two coils are on axis. I have a search coil specifically for this task.
