Hey guys I have a punch 200x2. The problem is I can't get remote voltage to it without it blowing the trace again. at first I thought the power supply fets were bad I changed those out with IRF3205 still the same issue. I checked for gate voltage and there's none on either side. I repaired the trace twice with no B+ voltage in just GND and remote voltage it burns the trace open somehow and appears to draw quite some current as I noticed. What do I check? Thanks guys

Lift or remove the two NPN driver transistors.
Connect only remote and ground (no B+). Does it draw excessive current?

Will do when I get home I have it all laid out ready to be worked on. The problem was I repaired the open trace as pictured twice out of both times I applied only remote voltage it opened that same trace twice then it would draw excessive current as I would tap it quick. Would that be Q5 & Q4?
Okay I removed them both from the board also D1 shorts out as soon as I apply remote voltage. And blows up the trace again that's with Q4 & Q5 out of circuit. What else should I check?
The LM339 and the 494 are both on this circuit. Can you lift pin 3 on the 339 to see if that eliminates the current draw?
Use a current limiter in the remote line to prevent doing any more damage.

C3 was the main issue why it kept blowing up stuff. Should've caught that earlier. I replaced all the driver transistors and gate resistors as well as the mosfets. The originals weren't shorted until I allowed one of my probes to short one.
