can somebody please tell me why my crown CDi 2000 will not power on ??.. the power switch is good... the inside fuse is good

Let's say they have some neuralgic points... the little auxiliary supply for the controller chip (C can dry out, R can go open), dead switching MOSFETs, blown rectifier diodes, not to mention dried-out secondary-side filter caps (although these will generally just make the supply unstable and unable to supply its full output, not keep it from working altogether).I see the amp has a switch mode power supply and these can be prone to failure.
A dead SMPS can have a fully charged filter capacitor - definitely discharge that before working on the supply in order to avoid being bitten.
