New to forum, so hello - have just picked up an Exposure Super 8 power amp from flea-bay and need to sort out a pre-amp (with MM phono option and CD).
Aside from tracking down an Exposure pre (bit tricky/expensive as no power take-off from Super 8) I'm thinking about two options to tide me over: 1) a dedicated phono stage + passive pre or 2) modding my old Mission Cyrus I (= looks like could take output off from volume control before it goes to power amp section?)
What do you reckon?
