Welcome 🙂
I also prefer valves but have worked with ICs. What sort of tube stuff have you worked on? Is it easy to find parts in Poland?
Rock on, and if you don't Rock, well roll with the changes😉

Well,
now i am estonished of the article "memory distortion" which was written by Pierre (please follow this address: http://peufeu.free.fr/audio/). This guy explained why transistors sound grainy in comparsion to the tubes. Excellent. I made a simply SE preamp. The sound is more hard than the tubes but realy is not grainy. Now i am going to rebuild oll of my amps in the way proposed by Pierre.
i know that poland is seen as a strange country but the parts in my country are like in other countries. sometime i can buy 6s33s from ukrainian or russian seller for 20z³ (4,5EUR) with a ceramic socket, so it is not bad!
Regarding the tubes my favourite are el34, ecc83, e88cc. i have lots of pl81, pcf82 (a few kilograms) ang do not know what to do with them? Last time i build PP amp on ecc83/pcc81 in triode mode that sounds very good (like more of the tubes) but 21,5V~of heating sometimes could make a problem.
Anyway still thinking, still fighting, still winning!
cheers!
