First post here. I was searching for some specific information on a Pioneer PL-41 turntable that is new to me. The information here was spot on, so I thought I better join up and say thanks!
I'm a gear collector who does some basic fixes and repairs, pretty much required with older gear. I'm also a registered speakerhaulic.

PL-41 is a direct drive?

The Pioneer PL-41 is a belt drive manual table. Sold as a professional unit in the late 1960's (I believe). The motor is huge on this thing.
Thanks for the welcome!
Before my time then. Probably a really good tanle. You'll want to get a proper alignment on the cartridge, the arm geometry is likely not optimum.
