well i decided on a plan, and saw these bowls in Ikea, decided to buy 4 to make two spheres for my little Bandor drivers, they are 20cm in diameter and around 2-3L'ish, need to make them a little smaller, and mount the drivers on a disk to make it easier to mount onto the sphere.

hopefully get them all hooked up by this evening 😀
with blue modeling foam for a quick base/support
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

I have a pair of drivers I've been considering doing that with. If you find the internal volume let us know. You could use a measuring cup to fill the bowl with water to get a more accurate idea than 2-3L.
Interesting build, keep us posted!

Great! Good job
How would you finish them? Will you round over the edge of the baffle?
Can you measure the response and maybe measure the response from one in a cardboard box too, or an old cabinet with temporary baffle? To compare.
I'm following your work‼ 😉

not sure how i am going to finish them, was thinking of some felt or similar for the small baffle, but its not going to be done soon, got loads of work on at the moment 🙁
i dont have any equipment for measuring the FR, would be interesting to see the difference though 😀
