There was, if you happened to work for DIGITAL in the 1980s... Unsure if Tandem or Sun, HP or IBM, M$ had such a thing, but DEC had a product called DECNotes which they "tested" by unleashing it on the workforce. Every possible subject was covered eventually, some 390 "employee interest" conferences by 1989, all built out by employees, running on VAXs they managed at an Operator privilege level.

Post a thread like "Is Rap Music?" in the Music "conference" - you're going to get some opinions from the over 100k folks working there at that time. Of course they had "Audio", where I learned the worst thing you could do, was challenge another member on their audible perception. (If they took a green felt tip marker and painted a green line around the edge of a CD, it really did sound better when played)

Thank you Gentlemen. I worked for London Transport and spent some time scrubbing felt tip pen off the walls, they did look better after that!
