Hello I'm new to the forum and a real noob on Audio,
so this might sound (or totally be
) a stupid question!
I recently bought a Neewer NW-700 microphone (one of that chinese manufactured cheap mic) and it comes with a 48v phantom power.
Everything works good except that I don't have any Gain control for the input of the Mic.
Since it is plugged to the PC motherboard, passing trough the Phantom Power (link 1) I was wondering if I could put a Pre-Amp (link 2) straight to the input-output of the PP and have a gain control on it.

Thanks in advance!
