Hi,

I recently bought a PolkAudio 505 Subwoofer that looks like this http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Jil8mI3al4o/Tfq40io_DtI/AAAAAAAACN0/Q0K8T0YMtx8/s1600/psw505+rear.jpg
and am attempting to hook it up to my Denon AVR1905 receiver which looks like this: http://www.audioholics.com/images/arv1905rear_lg.jpg
I've already been on the phone with product support from Denon and have searched everywhere for information on how to set this up to no avail. I bough a cable from Best Buy but I'm not sure its the right one.

What I need to know is the specific cable I need to set this up, I have heard that its supposed to be a y connector but that's what I bought and it doesn't seem to work.

Any help you can offer would be great, thanks.

Kirk

All you need is a single male RCA to male RCA cable - connect one end to the Subwoofer low level output on your Denon and connect the other end to the LFE input of the Polk Subwoofer. You should read the manual on the Denon for info on configuring the sub output from the Denon, it may have some bass/sub management capabilities
