Need help with mtx thunder 6304 amp

Hello guys I'm new here and know nothing about electronics. I had to strip down my mtx 6304 amp to paint the heat sink casing. So removed the pcb board. On removal of the board it left some white pads behind. on top of the pads where some components that where held in place with alloy bars and then a fixing bolt.
The components where covered in a white paste. Now back to the pads are the just a easy thermal pad that mtx use or are they a insulator pad.
I have brought some Dow Corning 340. But don't want to put amp back together until I know as I don't want a fire or bugger up my amp.
Hope this makes sense.

Here is a image of the pads i removed.

A close up of a pad looks like it as fabric (or like duct tape)

Here is the components that sit on the pads.

You can also use Kapton tape which is available through out the USA. Don't know where your located Corsasri, but if in USA then I would order from a USA seller that way you don't have to wait 2-3weeks for item to arrive.

Seller "jandrelectronix" has some nice Kapton film as well, he doesn't have any listed but ask as he may have some in stock. Very nice seller, highly recommended.
