ok i could tell you the whole story about what as i did before in the wrong post tread
here is the short
ppi was leant to a friend who mess it up not sure how but notthing blow out just wasn't coming on so i carried it to fix but after about 7 months guy nver fixed it
and all the transistors were gone also the big ic next to the 2 big caps and sum resistors
i am goin an buy back all the parts for it but i was wondering
can i put in bigger transistors and get a little more power even if its jus 1w or more
the transistors that was there was 2n6487 npn and 2n6490 pnp i think that is correct if not please correct me i know bigger might mean more heat but i got some
also i might not be able get these parts where i am so what are sum suitable substitute to use
the ic i have no idea what is it part # or replacement if i can't get that original
next as i would put in all missing parts back and it doesn't come what might be the posible problems
i suspect he may have grounded sum wires probably the power wires

That's a 4200, not a 4400.
Post a photo of your amp.
You can't get more power by changing those transistors.
You wouldn't be likely to notice a power increase unless you doubled the power output. If you did modify the amp so that it produced more power, it would likely make it much less reliable.

the internal in that is the same as mine i don't really know how to post the pics my cpu crash so i on my mobile here with limitation
my board has ppi 4400m on it
my board has ppi 4400m on it
Ok i think i should put in all the parts first and then if it doesn't power on then go through fixing it
ok so the original transistors are 2n6487 2n6490
i can't get these transistors where i am what's the best replacement for this
also i will be running the amp bridge so i hope the replacement can handle this

Where are you located that you can't get the 2N transistors?
The 2N6488 and 2N6491 are what I'd suggest.

The BD909/910 or the BD911/912 have been used quite a lot and seem to be reliable if you can't get the 2N transistors.
