I've had some diy floor standing speakers hanging around for quite a while, something I had to buy to get something else and have now decided to do something about them.
They have 2X Seas P21REX drivers per speakers and an Audax 25DT tweeter installed between them, the crossover I'm sure isn't correct as it just has a coil and capacitor installed, nothing else!
I'm sure some design must have been followed when building them can anyone shine a light on possible crossover designs etc?

Here's a pic of the speaker, the cabinets are well built and are braced inside. Would need to take drivers out for photos of the crossover. They measure, outside dimensions,
103cm height
28cm wide
35cm depth

It's probably an OK MTM, and could benefit by upgrading the xover to 2nd order LR.
How are the current components connected? - both on the Tweeter, or L on the woofer, C on the Tweeter?

It would be a shame not to try upgrade the existing x/o filter. Is there an Audax 25 DT datasheet still available?
After a little more research I believe the tweeter to be an Elac 25dt, with almost no data on it that I can find, it is supposed to be directly replaced by the Audax TW025A0, see a little data on this here, https://www.falconacoustics.co.uk/drive-units-1/imf/audax-hd12x8d25-12x8-tweeter.html

I will have to check this and come back to you
Can you measure distances (vertical) from upper edge to each driver centre? It would come handy in a sim. I'll try to find time to manage something simple. I have found Audax TW 025 A0 datasheet (spl/imp graph at Madisound), no ferro, appears to be suitable. P21 rex datasheet still at Seas web.

So measured the top of the cabinet to the center of the speakers today, they are as follows
Top driver 14cm
Tweeter 32cm
Bottom driver 50cm

Bottom driver 50cm
This midwoofer combination appears to be too sensitive (5dB) for the tweeter unit. Can you confirm lack of HF energy?
I would advise to disconnect one of the midwoofers and proceed from there.
Have you got means to measure low pass x/o inductor?
