Here's my intro...
New here obviously. Long time audio tinkerer, literally since I was a 5-6 year old child. I started off taking my parents clock radio apart, and managed to put it back together well enough they didn't notice. I was hooked after that and summarily started taking apart everything. Record players, alarm clocks, the dryer. (Got lucky on that one and woke up in the opposite corner in the laundry room) I'm still at it, 50+ years later. Been soldering since I was around 6, and failed to mention that in every field related job interview since. Went on to recording studio engineering (when they had parking lots, not driveways) live touring, corporate audio and video engineering. (I only did that briefly. Corporate will steal your soul) audio trucks and TV trucks, doing live sports, entertainment, and live multitrack recording in said trucks. Still hide the fact that I can solder, unless it's an emergency. Regardless, hello to everyone.
