Best of show (and I'm not kidding at all!) Is going to the 80+ years old Altec. The host was a kind south korean who brings this magic every year on his expense. He was only slightly high (on beer) and challenged loudly every one to bring their super modern speakers and see if they better this grandpa of a speaker. I must say that he does have a point.
I like the wooden log interconnect cable. Maybe i can diy that 🙂
Looks like there are more interesting speakers than last year. So you managed to attend on the trade days - was it as hoped - less crowded, lower volumes?
That long arm reminds me the turntable with violin bow as arm, and piano as the table body.
Horo was the name...or some like that.
I've been today on the trade day and visited the hifi delux at the marriot hotel as well. Tomorrow I'll continue the search. Two days are not enough yet way too much, especially since it's much crowded then last year, even on trade day. Marriott hotel show was a better place to just relax and listen

Today was the open day for all hifi freaks and the place was packed! Doesn't seems to make sense anymore 😕.
Best sound of the day was in my opinion the Tune audio from Greece, only 144,000€ for the pair and it's yours. Second best Göbel from Germany.
Disappointment of the day was the new living voice... using the new Ellipticor drivers from scan speak just didn't work for me. I miss his Vox Olympian

For sure some of the designs seem like they're in a competition for the lowest possible WAF. Still, you just have to admire the enthusiam.
