I've decided to go make speakers out of diamonds. Not driver surfaces. I mean I'm going to make the entire speaker out of CVD diamond. Or glass and claim it's diamond.

FWIW, I heard the 1"/2" complement in the Polymer Acoustics metal-alloyed cabs, and they were very nice.
