Peter, logaritmic pot have logaritmic attenuation if load impedance is minimal ten times higher. As you can see, it is not this case 😉 .
I tried them and it works well. Actually, even better then pot without added shunt, as more control at low levels is possible.😉

All the prepaid pot orders have been sent out today. Please note that there is no mounting nut included; this is the way the pots have been delivered to me.
I checked tracking accuracy on some of them, and it is within 0.3dB (with 1/2db worst case) through the whole range.
There are still some left.
