I bought the Morgan Jones "Valve Amplifiers 3rd edition - 2003" but also saw his "Building Valve Amplifiers - 2004"
Are there alot of differant material in the 2004 book, is it worth getting it as well?
What other books are recoomended for Amplifier - solidstate/valve information?

The 3rd edition of Valve Amplifiers is the latest. Building Valve Amplifiers covers a different set of topics, centered on the practical aspects of metalworking, soldering, layout, grounding, safety, and measurement.

The building valve amp book is worth it just for his explanation of star ground. There is also a lot of other information in the book as well. I highly recommend it.
There are few other sets of technical books in the world that are as easy to work with as the Morgan Jones books

There are some nice photos and explanation of the grounding scheme for the Crystal Palace amp. It's a good object lesson, what with high current grounds, signal grounds, safety earth, and stages running between positive and negative rails.
