In the miniDSP in a BOX: the board is properly mounted in the case,
and the RCA sockets are also wired up?

Yes, you just plug it in and it goes. There is a screw on each panel and a bracket holding the board in place, as I recall.

the miniDSP in a box is awesome. I power it using one my extra USB power cables from an old phone.

The connects, setup and everything is perfect and simple. Now If I can only figure out some of the more serious XO stuff.
