Hey guys got an MB quart onx1.2000D
Cycles power and protect.
Chips on power supply board have been shaved. Does anyone know what they may be using here? So I can pull up a datasheet and check appropriate voltages.
No shorted fets in power supply or output section.
powers up and does start switching on all power supply and output fets (not the cleanest looking though) for about half a second before going back into protect and starting all over again.
seems to have all plus and minus voltages present for a fraction of a second.
Cheers

Must not be an issue with the power supply.
Suspect driver board issue as if I heat up the output board it comes to life..... switches normally and relay engages until it cools down.
Going to remove output board and have a look.
Output board has also been shaved.

Appreciate that perry.
Amp is refusing to fault now so I'm gonna wait for it to cool down and loose rail volatge to hopefully see it fault again. Then I can be assured that I'm testing a current faulty component-s-🙂

Unfortunately don't have that on hand. I just used iso alcohol and a fan. Still not faulting yet... I'll try again tomorrow.
But did notice what u said. Those parts do run hot!!!. Wow. Might be worthwhile to heat sink them....
