before i start taking this guy apart, i wondered if any of you guys might already know if this is a common issue.
last night the player was fine, and today when i started using it one of the channels seems to have stopped working as it will only play on mono on the amp
any ideas?
many thanks, paul.

If you suspect a real fault rather than leads etc then first check has to be the muting circuit at the RCA outputs.
Hot swapping of leads can sometimes cause failure of mute transistors. A scope will show if this is the issue in seconds.
