Hi,
I got a CD67se from a colleague.
The tray gear has disintegrated.
Bought a new 2 step gear and replace after cleaning up.
Tray can open close smoothly but cannot not move to fully open and fully close.
Found the micro switch lever at the front right side not high enough.
Maybe this is the cause.
As I remove the micro switch from the transport it fell apart.
I am not able to figure how to put it back.
There is a plastic lever and something that looks like a spring plate.
I am guessing the lever broke off from the micro switch.
Any help and info is greatly appreciated.

Hi ahiukka,
I saw a similar photo of this tray switch from another thread.
Managed to reassemble the broken lever by using Loctite 495 instant adhesive (super glue) and put back the copper spring plate by hand.
Change a new lens.
Player is now working flawlessly.
Thank you for taking the trouble to show me the tray switch.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Good to hear you got the switch repaired and player up and running! 🙂
I was going to suggest of sending you the switch, in case you wont get a replacement or if the original switch would be beyond repairable. But you probably wont be needing it, so it'll stay in my "stock" of parts, maybe someday it gets in to use...
Happy listening! 🙂

Hi , I have also got a CD67Se with disintegrated tray gear. Where did you get yours and how much does it cost. Can I buy it over the Net? I'm in India.
Thanks,
Ashok

Hi cslaw.
Would the switch be like the one (see the attached photo) I just took apart from a spare mech?
