Just back from Germany for factory refurbish (new voice coils and inner diaphragms), these drivers throw an unbelievable soundstage, pin-point imaging and tonality to rival my Quad ESL63s. I have original packaging for the drivers.
I have them mounted in a VERY basic and ugly cabinet made from single sheet 3/4" MDF that I threw together for testing purposes only. I'd be happy to sell them as well for an additional $70 plus shipping and packaging costs.
The membranes show the characteristic slight whitish mottling on them. I think that is simply an effect of using latex in the material.
