I would buy this amp:

And use two of these wired in series and run in a push-pull cabinet (like M&K):

It would cost less and out perform the M&K plate amp and single M&K woofer.

Push-pull is a way of mounting drivers to reduce distortion, there are may ways to do it.

"How many cu ft?"

What ever your drivers require.
