Luxman L-410

I want to start a DIY project, and I have various amplifiers for sale.

a 'vintage' Luxman L-410, used but in good working order.

a Quad 405. Used look on the outside. on the inside, very clan, hasn't been hot, looking at the printboard, and wire isolation. Modified in 1999, new resistors, main elco's (2 x 10.000uF), and RVS cinch connectors, by 'Transtec. Never used since.

a Marantz SR6200. Used, but in good working order.

For my DIY project I was thinking of using EX-, or DX, 3, or 4 Lowthers, with seperate bass units on each side.

Looking for front loaded horns, I came across other 8"broadband units. The Tang Band W 8-1772 units.

Is there anyone who has experience with 8"Lowther, and these Tang Band broadband units?

Also someone with the experience on the use of front loaded horns for these type of broadband units?

Grt.,

E.
