what type of transformer? output, power, interstage?
if you like beautiful looking potted transformers, look at James and Tamura. There are others which slips my mind right now.

unfortunately not yet. it's the tamura and tango that are available here, and the distributor is my friend.
ps.
he's also selling Lundahl, but mostly interstage.
cheers!

I agree that a Lundahl tranny, whether OPT or power, wouldn't win any beauty contest. If you can mount it underneath the chassis, I guess it doesn't matter. I think Lundahl sells some sort of metal cover to hide the thing but whether it's available for all models of tranny I don't know.
The good news is that Lundahl's prices are reasonable and Lundahl's products have a very good reputation.

Open or potted is a matter of personnal taste. The LL1630 etc. are open. I personally like that somehow technical look of the open transformer
Currently I use the LL7902's in my phono stage and LL1570XL's as 2:1 step down input transformers instead of input buffers for my inverted gainclone. These transformers have a mu metal cases and sound terrific.
Lundahl offers a good price/quality ratio IMHO and this is important to me.😀 😀 😀
Cheers
