looking to retrofit some old JBL's

Anyone got any good ideas as what to do with a 9x12x20 (Inner Dimensions) box with a 5" long by 2" dia. port? Has cut outs for an 8" woofer and some weird 1.5" cone tweeter. id hope to get another 8" woofer and a more normal tweeter in there.

Do you have a budget in mind?

There are not a lot of 2-way 8" designs out there, but I've seen a few. For moderate cost you might take a look at this P.E. project:

Remember you can always modify cabinet & port etc. to suit.

umm no particular budget... but im almost at a loss to find a use for these... unless i move my seas 2-way towers back. only reason is i got a pair of radiance R82's for free. the driver is shot and i found out the radiance series was JBL's crappy speakers, so i figured i could make use of the cabinets, which are pretty solid, good condition veneered 3/4 mdf.
