I just spent a significant amount of time trying to determine why four different sets of resistors were reading so out of spec. They weren't even close for the most part. I think the culprit is a cheap set of plunge hook leads that I got off of Amazon. Once I switched to the OEM leads for a couple of different MMs the numbers fell back in line.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent, but moderately priced, set of plunge hooks? I don't want to spend a bunch of money on the plunge leads, as I want to get at least two sets (ideally four sets).
