Logitech Z5500 with RCA plug loadspeakers

Hi.

I have a Logitech Z-5500 with RCA plug speaker connections. Can I replace the RCA plugs on the speaker cables and use the speakers on a regular Yamaha receiver with "twistie" or banana plug speaker connections? Or are these speakers special in some way (e.g. depend on a line signal and not a speaker signal)?

Thanks for any help.

Hi,

You can do it but knowing Logitech the speakers will likely sound much worse
on a normal AV amplifier, that is the Z5500 uses active EQ for the satellites.

Sort of implied by the non-standard speaker connectors.
