This would be aimed at Australian diyaudioers: does anyone have any information on Lochhead subwoofers? I picked one up last year on Ebay, a bit knocked around, but sounds fine to me for home theatre use.
It's powered, with speaker inputs/outputs, with two "side-firing" 8 inch drivers and a front port. They were made in Sydney but no year on the information panel. It's rather heavy, I'm a biggish lad but it made me grunt when I lifted it off the shelf at the seller's shop. Amazing the number of heavy objects around that don't come with handles
Seems to have been worth the trip to Sydney to pick it up (I live 700kms away, did other things while there).
