Please help! I am using a LOC to hook up my 1500W AMP and 2 Rockford Fosgate P212 to my factory head unit. The problem I am having is when I plug my RCAs in to the LOC... No sound. If I back them most of the way out or touch the male part of the cable to the outside of the female port sound comes out. Im not sure what to do to fix the problem.
Some LOCs have a shield ground wire (often brown). Did you ground it?
Are you sure that you don't have two positives connected to one channel and two negatives connected to the other channel?
If that doesn't help, post a link to the LOC you're using and a link for the wiring for your head unit.

I have grounded the LOC to my amp, and my amp is grounded to my chassie. I have 2 LOC units ( i bought a new one thinking the first was messed up). The first one :http://http://www.scosche.com/amplified-add-on-adapter

I can't get the links to load. They seem to be missing the extension. I tried a few but they still wouldn't load.
Sorry about the faulty link I'm new to this. Turns out the problem was my splicing. I tapped in to the factory wiring at the passenger kick panel for my input and my negative wires weren't getting a good connectio . Simple fix! I celebrated by swapping out my 1500 for a 2000w amp and my first install is now complet .
