Hi All,
I got a cpl of nice looking little trannies 9/24v 27/72 va (for cheap). And it looks like too much and not enough. To much for sewa/mini-a and not enough for aleph-30. Could you help me with the choice some little nice sounding amp 🙂

You might go to Google and do a search on 'trannies' -- I think you will be surprised by the results.
In fact it's quite different from what you obtain on this forum. Will ask google to correct this bug. 😛
Was thinking about, the use on aleph-30 down sized to one pair of output devices. Any suggestions ?

You would then have a Mini-A. The transformers you have are too small for this application.
those are a bit small for a power amp -- I like to use a trafo rated at 4X the required VA.
Might make a nice aleph-P or a jfet BZLS. (Mine uses 30V secondaries, which is plenty).

In principle, you can build a smaller Mini-A by using lower rails, but the distortion will be somewhat higher.
