I put 17g in each big end of the 4 tapers, listened for a few days then removed it. There were hours between the with/without listenings and I don't trust my memories but it seems like there was more mid-bass with the stuffing and more deep bass without.
The boxes are lined with two layers of 60/40 wool batting.
Not stuffed in this pic.
Can you post your opinions on the general effects of too little, too much or no stuffing?
Thanks, Mack

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Never mind. I know it's an unanswerable question because of all the variables.
I put 10g of teased fluff in each wide horn end, sealed them back up and primed.

It is somewhat unanswerable unfortunately without going into a considerable amount of detail. About all that can realistically be said as a general rule (this applies to any box) is that the more damping you add, the more you will damp the output of the enclosure.
