I suppose you could make a nice multiway speaker with PHY, but it wont be an array...PHYs strong side is their coax drivers, and thats the opposite of arrays
Line Array
Hi,
If you are interested in line array speakers, GR Research has developed a line arrary speaker with a big "wow" factor that is it throws a very large sound stage similar to VR11. I suggest you go to this site:
http://www.audiocircle.com/circles/index.php?board=16.0
the model name is LS9. It costs a fraction of VR11, less than a tenth of VR11 and it is available in KIT FORM.
you will find this model interesting, it receives very good reviews from users and the owner, Danny is a nice guy to deal with, very helpful.
cheers.
