Lighting and cable problem / question

Hi guys,

I've been working on the DIY projector issue quite some time, and now that I'm so close to finishing it I've encountered some difficulties:

1> Just connected the CDM-T lamp, ballast and starter and.. nothing. Could anybody take a look at the connection and/or the parts and tell me if something is incompatible?
2> Got myself a very nice LCD Samsung 150MP, but I have a major problem with the ffc/fpc cables.. So my next question will be if anybody knows where I can find an extension for such cable or anyway how can I extend it a few cms (and probably an online shop where I can buy the thing needed).

Any help would be highly appreciated.

HERE are all the parts for the lamp, and just before them in the same album is the cable I told you about.
Attached is the way I connected them.

I have 50 pin ffc/fpc cables.. if yours is < 50 pin , that si OK!

I've tried this way of connection as well, still nothing. I suppose my ignitor isn't the right one...

50-pin cable would do, mine is 26-pin - we have a deal..
I just didn't see exatly are these two-way connectors (so you could plug two cables on both sides)? Can you write me an email with your details, couse I'm still under moderation.
