LCD panel FCC question.

Hello

I have been watching this forum for quite a long time. A year ago I decided to make a PJ but first I had to move to a new house and get married. Now I have a bit of money saved and some free time so I am returning to the project. I have searched the forums but many things are confusing for me so I decided to ask questions.

I am starting with the LCD and the problem is that most of the panels that you mention are unavailable in my country or maybe have different names. I have posted models that are regularly available as second hand and I would like to ask you which of these have FCC issues. I don’t think I will find special ribbons to extend the connectors, so an LCD which can be used right away is my only option. It is enough for me to bend the controller 90 degrees from the panel. So which ones are suitable?

I would also like to know which model of lamp I should buy. From what I have learned so far, double-ended lamps are the way to go. They have a small arc, which gives sharper images. If you could give models from such companies as Osram or Philips, then it would be great, as these are available here. There are so many models mentioned on this forum that I don't know which to choose. I need something powerful enough to watch movies in the evening, so I guess that 250W is enough.

That’s it for now. Thank you very, very much for you replies.

I have searched my shelves and found the following lenses. I know that the big condenser will be of use (I have three of them), but what about the rest?
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Sorry for the large amount of questions, but the forum has so many opinions and information about lenses, fresnels, LCD's etc. that I find it confusing. Don't worry, though. As soon as I build my projector I will keep contributing to the forum to 'pay' for my annoying questions 🙂
