Folks:

I recently purchased 20 large illuminated (i.e., blue ring) black anodized anti-vandal switches from Langir. The model number for these switches is L25-F/R Z2 A R B 24 and you can read the entire sordid story at http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/group-buys/231271-large-illuminated-anti-vandal-switch.html

About a dozen of these switches are available at my cost, which is calculated as $12 per switch (including a $0.50 contribution to diyaudio.com) plus shipping (for US addresses, $5.80 for a small USPS box) and Paypal fees:

for 1 switch, $18.64
for 2 switches, $31.00
for 3 switches, $43.35
for 4 switches, $55.71
for 5 switches, $68.07
for 6 switches, $80.43

I'll quote non-US address shipping costs on request.

These really are beautiful switches but, in the spirit of complete disclosure, I feel compelled to mention that I will likely be ordering the stainless steel version of these same switches very soon; I didn't expect black anodized aluminum. The stainless steel version will be priced the same as the black anodized version. So if you're really interested in a shiny (non-black) version of these switches, let me know now and I'll buy enough to accommodate you.

Regards,
Scott

The switches ordered by Buzzforb and dudaindc have been mailed (Priority Mail, to be precise). I used a Priority Mail box for Pete's switches, but it turns out the USPS charges $19.95 to ship that box to Canada, whereas an identically-sized brown paper box would ship for $8.55. Consequently, Pete's switches will be repackaged and shipped tomorrow, after I find a suitable box.

Thanks and regards,
Scott

Got my six-pack!

Scott,

I got my switches yesterday in perfect shape. 😀

These are much nicer than I expected, and quite frankly a bargain if you compare with "similar" options on eBay.
I am really glad I jumped on the opportunity to get these switches. :cloud9:

Thanks for your effort!

Folks:

Thanks to everyone who has responded! At this point, all of the black anodized switches have been spoken for. If any of the sales fall through, I'll post an update.

The stainless steel versions of this switch should be available soon; I'll post an announcement then.

Regards,
Scott

Folks:

The switches for those who have paid me sometime in the last four days or so were shipped today. You should expect delivery by Friday.

I haven't mentioned this before, but I'm interested in seeing how people implement these babies and would encourage those who buy from me to post photos when their projects are done.

Regards,
Scott

I will use them with diyAudio store soft start PCBs to power F5 Turbo V2 mono blocks.

The illuminated ring of the switch will replace LED1 on the circuit and I will adust R19 to get the right luminosity.

I'm still gathering parts for this project so it will take time before I can post a photo.
