I own a laptop with a 15" 1024x768 lcd screen.
I plan on buying an overhead projector to project the screen image on a wall, and an USB tv tuner (avermedia) for video input.
Does anyone have suggestions regarding the projector? What kind of projection quality should I expect from this setup?

Hello 🙂
From everything I keep reading, using a laptop screen is pretty hard.... but if you do succeed, you should get something of pretty good quality ( I would presume ). Projector?? hmm i would go with something that's always suggested. 🙂 something bright...
dukane 680 for example... 🙂
Re: Re: Laptop screen overhead projector
But I am wondering if a laptop screen, when not teared apart, would do for this purpose.
The LCD screens we see on this forum are "translucid" LCDs, they allow a light source to be on one side, and the lens to be on the other side to project the picture...
I don't feel like breaking my laptop for this setup.
Did anyone here make a projection system successfully with a laptop screen without tearing it apart to let the light go through it?
It looks like the Dukane projector is a projector with the light coming from under the screen.
