Laminar flow tech applied to speaker enclosures.

Any thoughts on the uses of laminar flow tech in speaker design? I read that Boenicke audio has used honeycombed blocks to that effect (see link below).

I wonder if there are any benefits in achieving laminar flow in BR ports or TLs?

Nothing new. Just ask google for bass reflex ports with soda straw tech.
