What's the size of the DC power supply input jack for this preamp? I assume 2.1x5.5, or is it 2.5x5.5? I have one on the way and I want to get started on a PSU for it
DC jacks of that size are limited to low voltage use. >18volts so not suitable for anything higher. The quality of the build and the insulation spacing internally, depicts the ratings.
Lumberg manufacture a DC plug but the maximum rating is 34volts.
You may need to use a Bulgin Connector, ( PX0748/P | Bulgin Cable Mount Connector, 4 Contacts | RS Components) if you want to comply with the recomendations or maybe you are happy to see what happens with a 12volt rated connector.
If the connector is already fitted, good luck but the usual sized plug is 2.5mm
