After researching I have concluded that this would make a good system:
Use a Klipsch ProMedia GMX A-2.1 system mated with the Decware Taboo.
The Decware Taboo has a low input sensitivity (around 2.3V) so
the addition of the 9dB attenuator may or may not be necessary:
The Taboo already has a "volume" control and the attenuator
would be used as a safety precaution to prevent too much voltage
from entering the Taboo.
The Klipsch ProMedia GMX seems highly rated except for the
the 'hiss' problem it exhibits; it is also a fairly highly sensitive
satellite speaker that operates above 140Hz. . .a good crossover
point for using the lower powered Taboo. . .but being a tube amp
will give the perceived power as being higher.
Your thoughts or opinions.
