Hi guys im busy on a JBL GTO 601.1
Mono the amp works but when i play it louder it seems to clip and the protection light flash as it clips I stripped the amp and checked the voltages the rail voltage is +29v -29v i downloaded a manual and it shows rail should be 35v rail to rail what can be the cause of low rail voltage

Seems to clip? It either is or isn't clipping.
Do you understand that clipping is the cutting off of the top/bottom of the waveforms as the signal reaches the rail voltage?

Sorry Perry it seems to cut off wen it reaches a certain volume can it be rail voltage that is low?
Not likely.
The rail voltage is dependent on the 12v supply voltage.
What are you using to power the amp?
Was it doing this in the car?

Hi Perry client gave wrong info he said the amp didn't do that in the car it just shut off I fixed the fuse holders and amp powered up
