I re-read the Pass j-low article a few days ago and wondered if it could be used with bigger speakers. Much bigger, as in Altec 414's. (12 inch) I have been thinking about ways to avoid using baffle step compensation with the Altecs and am interested in trying a BLH. Opinions?
Thank you, O Wise One. I assume by your cryptic but encouraging reply that there are no obvious reasons why this shouldn't work. I really like the idea, and the usual reflex boxes have all needed some compensation on the bottom end, so this may be the new speaker project. I will keep everyone posted on progress and results.
