Is there a better way to use this 12" woofer, than obvious 75 l sealed box. Bass reflex calculator gives 150 l vented box. Spec:

I'd like to use it in fast/waw with BetsyK ...or as basis for threeway later...

Without doing any moddeling teh driver looks good for a sealed box, but a larger vented box should work well.

If you are going to use it as a helper woofer in a WAW, a smaller, better midTweeter then the Betsy is something worth considering.

Tnx p10... I'll have them measured for complete spec , but want to start with 74 l sealed, Qtc=0,707... and try variovent . Any advantage to start with bigger sealed box, 90l perhaps ?
I considered Faital 3fe22 or 3fe25... or Fountec fe85, ...both not expensive, Faital seems better for higher sensitivity....

A larger box will give you a lower Q. Also may allow for a br box — i usually start with a sealed volume Q of 0.58 as a start when i am doing a reflex.

If sealed works woth your room it v=bringgs some strong assets.
