at $69US and 10 inch it has no competition - a tapered line - ABC - partially filled reflex should work well. My 10FR300 is stuffed into a tiny 0.62 scale K15 Karlson and has one fake Scotch Brite pad over its vent - not sure how much good that does with its 28 liter rear chamber.
I'd imagine something useful could be done with 60 liter;s airspace.

I tried adding a "super-tweeter" with a 1uF cap and two different Selenium/JBL models. 10FR300 is quite loud and nearly swamped my ST320 (out of production) 120x40 degree slot tweeter. The lower price (~$30 even in inflation) ST200 horn tweeter with large phase plug with 40 degree dispersion is a much better match with some gain to spare.
So at ~$100 drive cost one could make a T-line with 10FR300 and ST200.
10FR300 in a "K10" sized Karlson box and damped port has gooey "bass" - I think it would sound better with the damping removed from the port so some lower mids could come from the rear of the driver- through the port and into the front chamber. It might sound nice in the "Dutch K12" which has large distributive slots.
I've got to go to ER - horrible system to charge ~$7000 for a nothing visit and one shot - but this time I've got stuff needing fixed)

I 'feel your pain' (literally, figuratively and financially nowadays 🙁! 'Medicant' sucks 🤐).
(Art Linkletter's line comes 2 mind !) hey GM - would you cook up a small simple to make cabinet for 10FR300 if can be done around 50-60l ?

FWIW I like 10FR300 more than 12LTA - -10FR300 should exhibit less dynamic compression than 12LTA
JBL/Selenium ST200 tweeter with its phenolic diaphragm brings the presentation pup to a very good level.
10FR300's sensitivity of 100dB might be ballpark as it nearly swamped my big magnet Selenium ST320 40 x120 slot tweeter when both were run with 1uF cap.
(ST200's 40 degree dispersion is more focused and fits better with a large fullrange driver's top end)

I have HR sim for Pensil 10p.
Just for fun, I tried it with PRV 10FR300 parameters from your post #5 and found it a very nice match. F3=59Hz, F10=39Hz
You'll have to mount the driver on a wide side of Pensil cabinet to make it fit. If you move the vent too, just make it with same area.
I'am affraid supertweeter won't fit above driver, you'll have to put it on the top of the box.
I hope designer of Pensil won't find this offensive.
Notes:
Last section of the cabinet in simulation (16,10 cm long) is end-correction, which is calculated separately.
Stuffing amount is shown in last image.
