both the above mentioned devices are hexfet from irf with 500V rating . i wanted to know although they have high gate capacitance can they be use as o/p devices . if so then how to counter act the problem of high gate capacitance and if nt why so .

What kind of amp are you making? Quasi? What power level into what load Z? If you intend to make a complementary amp, you will need a P-ch of relatively the same conductance. Is this amp to be a common drain or a common source output stage? There is quite a difference. Class A or what? Is it that you already have these components or are you deciding on which components of these type to obtain?
BUT.....
Details are needed to determine a proper driving circuit.

actually i am looking for 600W @ 4E and near bout 1000W @ 2E. i am looking for quasi design and i want the amp to be a class AB with rail switching ie class H .......... can these details help in designing the driving circuit ......

High gate capacitance is not the problem.
Do you have a proper conceptual schematic for your class-H ?
i was thinking of modifing the apex b500 to a quasi complementary one with the step driver from h900.............. will it be possible .....????????????

ok workhorse as u say then how how about LEGENDSTAGE MK2 or Quasor from DR Bora. But may i ask why is B500 not a good ideaB500 using mosfets in quasi-complementary is not correct way

Noise injection from lower switched bus will break into oscillations, as the negative rail output devices are configured as CFP.
I believe Workhorse designs such high power amps for a living. He certainly knows what he is talking about.
What the OP asks for is not simple or cheap, even without limited choice of output devices. That is a lot of power, and a lot of heat. For 600W into 4 ohms, Class D is a far more sensible solution.

workhorse why dont u suggest a design ..........

You already have apex's H900 on the forum built by many.
hi workhorse
greetings do you any high power amplifier kits for sale can anthony holtons
av 1000 or av800 be made into h class have made both have few ready pcbs
for experiment do you sell ready made amplifiers sorry for asking you again
today saw zypher amp site the ALPHA AMPLIFIER is it your creation
thanking you

Have a look,
I dont know about holton's av1000/800 so can't comment.
