I'm using magnet wire and would like to know if you guys have experienced better results with heavier or lighter guages. I'm using the stuff from Radio Shack and it comes with three spools of varying guages.
Also, are best results obtained from spacing them or twisting them? I recall reading a lot of posts about the Speltz anit-cable which is basically magnet wire, and most folks prefered twisting it. I'm guessing the same would apply for wire inside the cab?

Have you tried Cat5e cable? It is similar and does a good job for low to moderate power applications. Twisting is good because it helps prevent the wires from picking up noise.
