Internal speaker damping

Historically IME, prosound cabs were medium damped with fiberglass insulation covering ~70% of one side, top (or parallel panel opposite the vent), back with OG703 duct board its modern equivalent and if heavily damped, then all walls except the baffle and/or doubling the thickness.

That said, I've seen some more recent prosound cabs that are so acoustically small that they're damped/stuffed with whatever fire retardant material is lightest/cheapest, so your call. ;)
